Ladies, (and Gentlemen) keep your calendars open for Tuesday September 16, 2008. Never mind, we’ll remind you. Christie’s South Kensington will be hosting its bi-annual 20th Century fashion and accessories sale. Sale is at 2p.m on Tuesday, September 16, public Viewing is Saturday, September 13 if you can scoot over to London real quick.
With September’s Fashion Weeks underway, the extensive Christie’s sale will give you a welcome opportunity to delve into the past and pick up quality vintage pieces from great name designers such as Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Vivienne Westwood and Dolce and Gabbana.
Estimates start from just £200 and, with over 400 lots of handbags, shoes, costume jewellery, day dresses, evening gowns and more, collectors, fashionistas and the just plain curious are sure to make the public view on Saturday, September 13 another essential date for the diary.
